  1. The Illusionist (2006)

    Genre: Mystery / Romance / Thriller
    MPAA: Rated PG-13 for some sexuality and violence.

    Comments: A really nice one, though I was thinking it would be a boring one, it ended up very entertaining and exciting and it is just a great illusion.

  2. A Mighty Heart (2007)

    Genre: Drama / History / Thriller
    MPAA: Rated R for language.

    Comments: It was an event that shocked the world. This is the story you haven’t heard. Living in a country where a journalists are killed often, and I have a good understanding of similar situations. This story being a real one, it is told in a way that is not a formal documentary, but a movie that documents all the event that happened.

  3. Machakaaran (2007)
    Watched on: 05/01/2008 - VCD/CAM

    Genre: Tamil

    Comments: Its a OK. Nothing special I think, but nothing bad. First half was bit slow, but it was interesting in the second half, and I enjoyed.

  4. I Am Legend (2007)

    Genre: Horror / Sci-Fi / Thriller
    MPAA: Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence.

    Comments: Interesting, bit scary, different story(?), Really Good.

  5. 28 Weeks Later (2007)

    MPAA: Rated R for strong violence and gore, language and some sexuality/nudity.

    Comments: Just blood, nothing else…

    Comments: An interesting one, just good.

  7. Shaolin vs. Evil Dead (2004)

    Comments: Boring, bad.

  8. Saawariya (2007)

    MPAA: Rated PG for thematic elements, brief nudity, some language and incidental smoking.

    Comments: Didn’t watch full, not good compared to the Tamil one ‘Iyartkai’.

    Comments: Lot of talking, but still interesting romantic story, different. Special the scene at the records shop, when listening to a record.

    Comments: We make mistakes often, and watching this is one of those.

    Comments: They have tried something new/different with those two characters, but not a very significant effort.

  13. Before Sunset (2004)

    MPAA: Rated R for language and sexual references.

    Comments: Just like Before Sunrise (1995), but this is of the same two people, more matured and aged meeting after ten years. Its all about how we change with age in life, and how our thought and ideologies might or might not change. Overall, this was a brilliant film.

I think this is the only blog post I’m posting regularly in my blog. But that doesn’t mean I’m a big fan of movies, but I just happen to watch and appreciate any movies that I get to watch if it is good. So just follow the links of those movies and if you are interested, just grab a copy somewhere and watch.
